SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER/ENVIRONMENTAL PLANNER - Petaluma, Oakland or San Francisco, CA

Our client is a leading environmental consulting firm that specializes in all aspects of project planning, environmental analysis and assessment, natural resource management and regulatory compliance serving public and private clients in the community development, water, energy, and solid waste markets. This position will work closely with the Regional Practice Managers to provide excellent client and project management services to our regional community development clients.

Responsibilities:
Client and project management responsibilities will include working on behalf of clients to manage and prepare CEQA/NEPA environmental documents, planning studies, develop and manage scopes, schedules and budgets; coordinate with appropriate stakeholders including client and regulatory agencies; and prepare proposals for and participate in interviews for prospective project work..

Education
B.S./M.S. in environmental planning, science/planning, urban planning, public policy or related field.

Qualifications and Experience
The talented and energetic candidate will have 8+ years of experience managing and preparing environmental/planning studies and reports for small to large projects and have a comprehensive knowledge of the CEQA/NEPA processes. In addition, the candidate will be highly organized and self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team, have strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, be comfortable working in a deadline-oriented environment, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Prior consulting experience a plus.
