Senior Planner - San Francisco, CA
Seeking a senior- level analyst with 5 – 7 years experience to help build a planning practice. This is an opportunity to be part of a long-established team with an excellent reputation for producing high quality work products for community planning, environmental, transportation, and other related services.
Responsibilities include managing complex urban and regional planning studies, develop technical sections, and prepare a variety of planning studies including General Plans, Specific Plans, Redevelopment Plans, Environmental Assessments, EIR's, and various other studies. Conduct research and analysis, prepare presentations conveying results, and participate in community outreach efforts. Experience working with the public sector is a plus. Experience in CEQA, public outreach, land use permit review, code development, development of design guidelines and work with elected and appointment officials desired. Previous land use planning experience and knowledge of codes and ordinances are desirable. Manage consulting team, guarantee quality assurance, and provide oversight of all aspects of production and final deliverable to client.
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Planning or Urban Design and 5 – 7 years experience are required. AICP Membership and consulting experience required. Supervisory skills and experience required. Excellent communication, both verbal and written, required.
